A Reddit post, showing a detailed analysis of the alleged Series S’s specifications, was supposedly released.
The user found that it housed a 4.0GHz octa-core processor, an unknown graphics processing unit, and 16GB of GDDRX memory shared between RAM (12GB) and VRAM (4GB). It appears as though this could be a less powerful console than the rumored Xbox Series X, running at 1440p and 60 fps.
Multiple credible reports all but confirmed the existence of Xbox Lockhart, which could offer up to 7.9 teraflops of power. Although Microsoft hasn’t acknowledged the existence of a second Xbox console, the leak refers to the entry-level 2020 Xbox as the Xbox Series S.
