TOP STORY: Xbox Series X launch not set to include any next gen exclusives specific to it’s ecosystem
Matt Booty in a discussion with publication MCV Develop talked about the content coming from Microsoft Studios at launch. It appears that content will not include next gen exclusive content not playable on any other family of consoles.
In this discussion Matt says, “As our content comes out over the next year, two years, all of our games, sort of like PC, will play up and down that family of devices….”
It is also worth noting what this reveals regarding another title. If this is the case, this would confirm that Hellblade 2 , said to be in development — and to be a console exclusive to the Xbox Series family, is not set to launch until 2022 or beyond.
