A new Bloomberg report (via Gematsu) indicates the end of April – later than the suggested February window.
According to this report on Bloomberg, there has been pressure from Sony Corporation CFO Hiroki Totokito provide more transparency and info about the PS5 prior to the console’s launch later in the year.
The same report also claims that the manufacturing cost of PS5 is around $450 per console, and that Sony is waiting on Microsoft for how they will price the console.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X are both due for release in holiday 2020, but fears that the coronavirus outbreak in China could potentially lead to delays or limit the number of consoles available on release day.
Sony recently launched a PS5 section for its official PlayStation website, giving fans the chance to sign up for the latest news.
